Hi,

A quick look at NYC in Google Maps shows subway lines mapped out.  PDF's like this are also available: http://www.mta.info/nyct/maps/busbkln.pdf .  I would like to do the same for bus routes in cities in Armenia and I don't know where to begin.  There are established bus routes but getting assistance from the transportation or tourism agencies in Armenia has been difficult, so I would like to do it myself.  I would like to superimpose bus maps over Google Maps, or take existing maps of cities in Armenia and create & edit PDF files.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  I

Thanks,
Max

If it's up to Google to put transit lines on a map, is there an email address of form we can use to ask for this? The city of Philadelphia has no "Transit" option to show the subway system lines on the map. If the 6th largest city in the country doesn't have this option, then something's wrong here.

It is not up to Google, it's up to your city Transit companies only. See http://maps.google.com/help/maps/transit/partners/

SEPTA is already included in Transit, in as much as when you go to search for directions, you can get transit directions in the city and region on SEPTA services. But when you're browsing around the city, you can't click on the "Transit" layer; it's grayed out. Since this information is already in Google, I wanted to know why it wasn't showing up on a transit layer. If there's something I can do in Mapmaker to add this to the transit layer, then please let me know.

@Joseph R: Google Transit layer is not related to the Google Map Maker project.

I noticed :/ I've talked to SEPTA about it, they're not even sure why their lines aren't showing up on the transit layer. They tweeted to Google Maps a while ago, but it doesn't look like anything came of it.

What else can an agency do to get their lines on the transit layer if they're already a part of the transit partner program?
