I am not a confident speaker of Te Reo, although I seem to skim in

My background is in design and IT and look forward to further
discussions in the near future...

Hey all the people. Big ups to Potaua and Nokolasa - they've been on
this waka for years now and I remember talking with them a few years
ago about how as indigenous people's we can engage using www as a
channel of communication for kaupapa that are important not only to
Maori but all indigenous or minority peeps - ka mau te wehi!
Big ups to you all for getting involved.
After reading all the discussions and posts - what can I offer/ do?
Hmmmmm, without too much thinking I can offer to help out where media
are concerned and perhaps at a later stage/ or even at mile stone
stages writing press releases that can be sent out to extensive
networks to let them know what we're up to and the like.
Otherwise, more than happy to read the korero and just offer what ever
korero/whakaaro I can.
There was a comment made I think by Nikolasa in an earlier discussion
that suggests we go to where Rangatahi are already congregating on-
line and use that link... ae, pai tena whakaaro ki ahau. Once we've
sussed out what they're up to and where, then that might lead to "how"
and "what" we do next so as to build/create a space that they've made
for themselves as opposed to "we did this for you" - and then kaore to
pai ki a ratou pea?!

thoughts Miss Nga great to be able to use your talents :) And we can
definitely use your skillz Kelz.
Nikolasa is going to send out the translations we've got so far to
confirm with those involved as to the translations.
Getting the first page of Google is the first step and then Google
will begin the step of creating space on their server for Google
Maori. Sweet.
