problems with repositories by software sources

Dear Friends,

I'm brazilian user windows. But, I am trying to change for Ubuntu.
Yesterday I downloaded the Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop.

Now, I'm running Ubuntu by Virtual Machine (Sun xVM VirtualBox -
Version 2.1.2).

I used the template http://www.google.com/linuxrepositories/ubuntu704.html.

I'm having problem. When I click in "RELOAD" for Ubuntu to access the
repositories, appear fault in http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/dists/karmic/partner/binary-i386/Packages.gz
404 Not Found [74.125.91.93 80], then show me witch link can be old
and removed.

My VM has this configuration:
Main Memory: 600MB
Video Memory: 12MB
Primary IDE: 8GB

I done many installation programs and packs. But, This is only
trouble.

Too, I installed the Picasa for Ubuntu... that has a problem too, only
slow. But I think this problem is different of the repositories. I
think, if I to do one new setup in VM, and improve the Main Memory...
may be get better.

Somebody, help me with Repositories?
