Apt repomd access to Yum repository broken

in a post in May, Michael mentioned that while browsing isn't allowed,
packages are available:
http://groups.google.com/group/google-linux-repositories-help-basics/msg/8f8916e8d0b3aed2

If you configure your apt-rpm to use the google repomd repositories:

repomd http://dl.google.com linux/rpm/stable/i386

You still can't download RPM packages from Google.

I think we just need someone to go in and also allow that user-agent.
