Printing trouble in Picasa 3.8 under Ubuntu 11.04

I'm having trouble printing in Picasa

I have Ubuntu 11.04 and Picasa 3.8 running under wine and a Canon Pixma M5150 printer with Canon provided Linux drivers. Printing works fine in other programs.

When I try to print my photos look like this:

Printing from other image viewers works just fine.

I have noticed that print properties in Picasa look like this: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/UC_yFYsflgjB0-vawZPBCVsKsO-UWyAlIHX-iYb7x8I?feat=directlink

While the print properties for other image viewers (the ones that can print) look like this: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/ezvktLOfx1RvIMLBE_AR3lsKsO-UWyAlIHX-iYb7x8I?feat=directlink

Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you think there is any chance fixing this?

I have the same issue. I have Ubuntu 11.10, HPLIP and Picasa 3.9.

No, I haven't found a solution - I just save my stuff in Picasa and
use other programs to print (which means no more handy printing of
multiple photos on an A4 sheet)
