Of course Google will index the pages - according to page rank of your
site. Redirect will certainly help.
I have (after some experiments) done the same thing ( my knol page is
here:
http://www.iei.info/knol/pf/ )
and added Adsense. However, using the Google-takout (=the file
download) required lot of hand work + knowledge of
HTML. For one, there is a bug (described in my former message) and
then - all href links to the same or other knols go through the same
annoying 'redirect question'. Some images references are screwed up.
Frankly, while I appreciate the redirect, I was expecting better
options from Google.
