Hi, I have been using Persian transliteration editor for several
months, I have noticed for some commonly used Persian words the editor
can't find the right match or place it on the list of similar words.
In such cases I would have to use the keyboard tool which is off
course more time consuming. I would like to ask if the mapping of
transliteration words is available to users so they can add new words
for their local use, or if there is a way users can help improve the
mappings vocabulary by sending the Latin-Persian pairs of words to the
development team in Google, and if so what is the right way to send
this information.

Thanks and Regards.

Hi parviz,
I also use google transliterate persian extensively and have the same
issues as you do. I have come to add another tool to my aid called
www.behnevis.com which is a tad smarter than google.s.until they
figure these issues out.
Regards
Maryam

With version 1.0.4.0, we can add our own word mappings through macro
support.
http://www.google.com/ime/transliteration/help.html#macros

And also we can have a separate character mappings instead of the
default behavior by defining any scheme.

Thanks,
Naren.

Naren, thanks for your help.  Defining custom scheme is not a simple task at all and its documentation is abstract and doesn't explain and provide examples.  Is the default Persian scheme .scm file available so that we can use that as baseline ?

Thanks and regards.
