account chooser automatic redirect

Since 3 days ago, the gitkit v2 started to automatically redirect users to the account chooser page, rather than displaying the normal login page, with the normal (non-federated) section and the gitkit buttons.

Previously the tryFederatedFirst=false seemed to do the trick and stop this redirection, but now whenever a user visits the login page, they get immediately directed to the account chooser page.

I have found out that I can disable this annoying behavior by disabling the account chooser here: http://accountchooser.com/ , but this needs to be done by each visiting user separately. Is there a way to revert back to the previous behavior, without affecting the users?

Thanks for your email. I'm not sure I understand exactly the flow you're experiencing. Could you send a link to your website (either over the list or just to me)? A series of screenshots could work too

Repeating this to the list as well.

Previously, the login screen loaded and the users that wanted to use a federated account clicked on the buttons appearing through gitkit. Now, when gitkit loads in the login screen, it automatically redirects the user to the account chooser dialog. I provide some screenshots: the first shows the expected login screen and the second shows the account chooser dialog that gets automatically loaded immediately after gitkit gets initialized:

Is there a way to avoid account chooser automatically redirecting the users (without requiring each user to disable account chooser)?

Thanks for sending the link. From what I can tell everything is working normally with account chooser. If the user's account chooser is empty it is redirecting to your login page, otherwise the account chooser is shown to avoid the user needing to type their email address manually. Remember this central account chooser is the difference between v1 and v2 ( https://groups.google.com/d/topic/google-identity-toolkit/NSy-VvcybtI/discussion )

There is a slight issue in that your sign up endpoint was not responding as expected, but otherwise everything looks fine
