initializing the Injector

What's the best way to initialize the Injector? Especially in a large
scale app with 100s of beans. Also to get hold of a fully initialized
bean at the top of a particular dependency chain you either have to
call getInstance on the Injector or instantiate the bean first and get
its dependencies set by calling injectMembers on the Injector. Now to
do this for every bean that you need to get hold of is kind of
tedious. Is there another way to accomplish this?
