GSon should support the Java 8 time.
It now serializes the time classes with its fields. This basically only
works if you use GSON on both sides of the equation.
It would be better, IMHO, if it used ISO strings - as that is the "lingua
franca" for all date stuff, and most libraries support this.
There is a github project for this:
