Is there a way to stop FATAL messages abort the process?

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to have FATAL messages stop aborting application process.
I want to use glog with my application but on FATAL messages only error should be logged and process should continue running.

Any pointers will be of great help.

That's a bad idea. Think about the scenarios when it will be FATAL?

When and Why would you rather ignore a FATAL "event" and know you are running a compromised system and still continue?
