Google Gadgets should not have side bar

Good morning,
I am a 100% Google Gadgets user for Ubuntu. Never the less I think it
should be updated and the sidebar needs to get off because people just
place the widgets anywhere within the Desktop. Neither Mac OS X nor
Win7 have sidebar any longer. As I matter of fact, Google Gadgets
should be the default widget dashboard for Ubuntu.
