INDEXFTSE:UKX: Shows incorrect Values after self refresh

The page:
http://www.google.com/finance?q=INDEXFTSE:UKX
Should show the current version of the FTSE100. when first loaded it
does show the correct value (circa 6050) but after a self refresh it
drops dramatically to around the 4000. Manual refresh bring back teh
correct value but after a while the self refresh drops it back again.
It is not obvious what it is sowing.
Please fix this asap.

This fault is still happening!
Why have Google not fixed this?

This has been a problem for me too and others. It hasn't been fixed
because Google can't be bothered. There are numerous other issues with
the charting and portfolio functions but none are shown on the Known
Issues page. Personally, I think this sloppy development undermines
Google's brand.
