I have multiple "portfolios" with Google Finance, one of which is my aggregated real-life portfolio ("My Portfolio"), with the rest being "watchlists". The 'portfolio-related news' feature is quite useful, but the problem is that "My Portfolio" has gotten too large such that when I am at the 'Overview' or 'Performance' page, the "Portfolio related news" section at the bottom only captures a fraction of my holdings. There is the link "More portfolio related news", however, this leads to news for all stocks in all portfolios, including my "watchlists". This isn't helpful when I'm trying to scan through news for only my actual holdings. If there were some way to keep 'portfolio-related news' specific to each "portfolio" separately, that would be extremely useful imo.
Also, if portfolio-related news could be structured so that each most recent news release had a "more" button that expands into older news links (for the same stock and in reverse chronological order of course) it would be very, very helpful for those hoping to use Google Finance as an organized news aggregator for their real-life portfolios.
Thanks for reading...I hope these ideas can be implemented at some point in the future.
