high52 function not working

I'm using the google finance function 'high52' to give me the year high of a share i.e.:
=GoogleFinance($B17;ʺhigh52ʺ)
where $B17 contains the ticker.
It does return a number but very obviously the wrong one. For instance, firstgroup plc returns 196.31 but a few weeks ago it was over 260. The with other stocks. I'm not getting any errors.
Am I doing something wrong?
