Hello Vinay,

Thank you for your suggestion; we'll keep it in mind as we plan future
product enhancements.
In the meantime, you might be pleased to find out that we have
recently upgraded our Bombay Stock Exchange data to display in
realtime.

Hi Karolina,

I use Google finance to the maximum extent now a days because i really like the charts of Google finance. But now a days am facing a problem. I have only one portfolio in my account which has around 550 stocks listing in that. So it is responding too slow when i open the portfolio. Can this issue be solved . Please give me a reply asap.
I cant split the stocks into different portfolios . I want all of them in the same portfolio so that i can use the sort option on different columns of the table.

Hi Karolina,

Any updates to this post from you? The only attraction we have to Google Finance from India is the real time quotes, so far. The rest of the interface and the news is not relevant to Indian stock markets at all.

Currently, I end up using an offline excel sheet for basic data capture and refer to Google Finance for real time quotes. Ideally, I would prefer NOT to have ANY offline excel sheet at all.

Would appreciate if you guys could expedite development to suit Indian stock markets.

Would love to beta test, if required.

Hi Kini,

I'm sorry to say I have no updates to share. We are aware of the
demand for a localized version for India.

By the way, have you tried using the =googlefinance() function in
Google Spreadsheets? It might help you by bringing quotes directly
into your spreadsheet. Here's our blog post about the feature:

Hi Karolina,

Thank you for replying.

Unfortunately, this function does not work for Indian stocks.

Please try this yourself. Please create a Google spreadsheet and check for the following stocks:
BOM:532532 & NSE:JPASSOCIAT

The simple functions I tried were as follows:
=GOOGLEFINANCE("BOM:532532";"volume") which gave the following error: error: The BOM exchange is not supported.
=GOOGLEFINANCE("NSE:JPASSOCIAT";"volume") which gave the following error: error: The NSE exchange is not supported.

You can find details of these stocks here:

Can you please help?

Alternatively, in case I am doing something wrong, please guide me.

Thanks a ton!

Warm regards!
