Getting the Historical Data for .DJI (Dow Jones Industrial Average)

Is there a way to get the csv data pull for the .DJI? If I do a
search on the symbol or cid, it gives me an error back.

Queries used...

http://www.google.com/finance/historical?q=INDEXDJX:.DJI&output=csv
http://www.google.com/finance/historical?cid=983582&output=csv

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know the answer to this, but experiemnting on the DJI page
itself, it doesn't have an export to spreadsheet unlike straight stock
quotes (eg aapl). SO I wonder f they simply don't export the .dji to
a csv or anything else at all.

If you need the data programmatically try yahoo, they have a similar
interface and they do export on the dow and other indexes.
