Allow people to have a profile pic with a custom shape (that probably doesn't make since but I will explain)

So this is my profile (don't hate on my ponies):

If you look at the profile picture you will see that it is in the shape of a circle.

I think that it would be really cool for a check box that says remove background, when you check this it makes it's no longer the shape of a circle, but more like this:
