PlotKit/canvas in IE8?

Does anyone have PlotKit/canvas working in IE8 using excanvas?

According to:
https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/details/333905/vml-is-no-longer-supported

and:

...IE 8 broke some dynamic VML setting.

There�s a post here:

...indicating that someone got it working, but I haven�t been able to
get it right.

Anyone??
