Greetings. I have a problem concerning excanvas. On a site with maps i
am using excanvas to show a route let's say from point a to point b.
When I try to print it, the route is not printed. Firefox on the other
side, using canvas, at least tries to print it, despite the fact that
it prints it incorrectly. Now, my question is since Google Maps is
printed perfectly, where is the catch?

Are you certain GMaps uses VML in IE for displaying routes?

Yes.
"If you want to show polylines on your map (like the lines used by
Google Maps to show driving directions), you need to include the VML
namespace in your XHTML document to make everything work properly in
Internet Explorer" taken from http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/

Could this lead to a patch? http://www.dsmorton.com/code/vml/

"to get the VML to print, the COORDSIZE attribute values must be an even
multiple of the actual size of the [canvas]."
