Greetings, I am trying to use the parametric search with two meta-
data fields and I'm running into some issues.
Ideally what I'd like to do is combine two fields into one list, and
then be able to search both of those fields at one time. In my
example, I'm combining 'taxonomy' and 'Subject'. The combine into one
list works just fine, the problem arises when you click on one of the
fields in the generated list. The appended piece of the url is
"&partialfields=Subject:blabla", because I'm combining from taxonomy
to Subject.
What I want the appended url piece to be, is
"&partialfields=Subject:blabla|taxonomy:blabla". The OR makes it so
I'm searching both of those fields, not just one. This seems to me to
be the intuitive correct action that anyone would expect.
So is there a way to get the parametric navigation to do that for me?
Failing that option, I'd like to be able to show both lists, which is
simple (just don't combine). But in this case I'd like to be able to
change the "all" and "collapse" links for EACH list. That way I can
say "Show all Subjects" and "Show all Taxonomy" so that users know why
those two lists are different. The settings allow you only to set all
of those links to one specific thing, as far as I can tell.
Is there a way to set each lists' links individually?
Thanks you for your help GSA developers!
