Hello Earth Engine users,

We're investigating intermittent HTTP 500 errors in the Code Editor. This issue may surface when you attempt to load the Code Editor page; instead of the normal interface, you may see a page that says "Error: Server Error." Because the issue is intermittent, it's usually fixed by waiting a few minutes and refreshing the page.

We've reduced the frequency of this error over the past week, but we're still debugging to find the root cause. We'll post updates as we learn more.

Apologies for any impact on your work,
- Michael, on behalf of the Earth Engine team

Hello Earth Engine users,

We've resolved the issue that was causing these intermittent HTTP 500 errors for the Code Editor. The last instance occurred on 2025-01-21 at 17:00 GMT. The change to the underlying infrastructure has been reverted, and we don't expect the problem to recur.

We sincerely apologize for any disruption this caused.

Thank you for your patience,
- Michael, on behalf of the Earth Engine Team
