Google Earth Builder Service Updates - 4/2/2012

Greetings GEB users. Today we updated Google Earth Builder. Noticeable updates include:

• You can now add a link to your Maps that references KML files hosted from your own or a third party server.  Learn more.
• We now only permit processed and published layers to be added to maps.
• In the Map Details Page there is now a link to view the Map ID and all stable Layer Keys for that map. This is for developers who wish to use the Google Maps API Javascript library for Google Earth Builder.
• The look and feel of the Help Center has changed. All of the previous content is there, but a new navigation system makes content easier to browse and discover.
• We've posted a new introductory tutorial. This tutorial shows new Earth Builder users how to create an imagery-based map.
