If line features share a similar route before diverging it would be helpful to choose which line appears to be "on top" while they share the same path. This could be easily controlled by associating a line's listing in the sidebar with it's "underneath/ on top" orientation: lower on the list - underneath, higher on the list - on top. This could help make maps cleaner and easier to understand especially when many lines start with a similar route and then split, ex. running routes that share a common starting point.
