Hi,

After trying this for hours, I have not been able to get roll to work.
I also noticed that LookAt doesn't support roll yet.

Please take a look at my last response here:
http://groups.google.com/group/google-earth-browser-plugin/browse_thread/thread/24f7e4bd61bbcebe/8d16cf909f15f03f#8d16cf909f15f03f

As you will see, roll does not seem to work, as it is, I think, not
supported yet.

I ask that roll feature be included, as it is a very crucial feature
(extremely important for what I'm trying to develop).

(If it is supported, please reply so, and with code snippet that makes
it work).

Thank you very much.

kdd.

I totally agree with kdd, the <roll> tool doesn't work (deprecated?).  I was shocked that there weren't more people asking .  I've been trying to utilize the Google Earth Engine as an image viewer, but without the <roll> capability, Google Earth can't do what I require of it.

Since the flight simulator option in Google Earth does allow rolling I assume it is possible to implement (I feel like Tantalus).
If the kml tag <roll> worked it would be a nice perk, but really what I want is an optional ROLL navigator tool.  Most people wouldn't use it and find it confusing, but it would be a godsend for me.

Can your provide a simple clear demonstration that Roll doesn't work?
Just enough code to demonstrate the issue.

Its clearly documented, so it should work. Its not marked as
deprecated.

If you can provide a demonstator its much easier to get Google to take
you seriously.

HEre is a demonstatator, that seems to suggest, that Roll, DOES work

It defiantly works with the plugin version 6.2.2. I have issues with version 7.
