I have Windows 7 64 bit.  I have downloaded / uninstalled Google Earth several times and cannot get it to run.  When I click on the shortcut or on the .exe file nothing happens.  Does anyone have a solution for me?  Thanks

Hi Guys,

I'm not gloating here but it works fine on my Win 7 64bit. Can I suggest that it may be a common hardware problem or a graphics driver problem. Maybe you should list your mother board, PC manufacturer or graphics and driver version and then we may see a pattern emerging.

What I found was is the default IE opens in the 64bit browser, so if you're using Windows 7 64bit.  Try to open with IE 32bit.  That worked for me.
