I am having a problem with google earth and the jquery ui dialog
widget. What happens is that the 'title bar' of the dialog box is
hidden by the google earth plugin (Along with the scrollbars for the
dialog box). The actual content of the box shows fine.

I think the easiest is to show with pictures:
What the dialog box is supposed to look like:

And what it actually looks like:

Does anybody have a fix for this issue, or will I need to think of
another way of displaying the information?

Hi Walther,

It looks like the jQuery dialog isn't setting up a proper IFRAME shim.
Read up on this public issue for more information:

I suspect you'll need to dig into the jQuery UI library docs to see if
it has built in IFRAME shim support. If not, you may have to roll your
own :(

Hi Roman

Thanks. There is a plugin for the jQuery UI library that uses an
IFRAME shim to fix the IE6 select box issue, but it only works on IE6.
I'll see what I can do to make it run on other browsers.

In the mean time I have implemented another method of displaying the
information, but it is not as flexible as a dialog box.

Thanks and I'll let you know how it turns out.
