Funktioniert das Google Earth plugin nicht in IE10 unter Win7

Heute habe ich geupdated von IE9 auf IE10.

Ich möchte IE10 auch unbedingt behalten, weil ich eine Anzahl Websites pflege und schon auf IE10 vorbereitet sein will.

Beim Öffnen von Google Maps / Umschalten auf Earth-Ansicht wird automatisch das plugin installiert.

Folgende Mitteilung wird gezeigt:

 

 

"Das Google Earth-Plug-in ist jetzt installiert.
Starten Sie Ihren Browser neu, um es in Aktion zu sehen."

 

Nach dem Browser-Neustart hat sich aber nichts geändert, das Gleiche passiert wieder: Die automatisch Installation und die Mitteilung.

In Firefox funktioniert Google Earth einwandfrei, in Google Chrome habe ich auch Probleme. Da erscheint immer die Mitteilung: Ein Problem mit dem Google Earth Plug-in ist augetreten, installieren sie es erneut. Neuinstallation hilfst nicht, das Gleiche fängt wieder von vorne an.

 

In Forefox funktioniert Google Earth aber einwandfrei.

Stimmt ! Das Plug-In funktioniert NICHT unter IE10 ! IE9 ist ok. Und Firefox auch !

Websites using the Google Earth plugin will probably work if you click the compatibility icon on the address bar (Looks like a torn paper on the right side of the address bar). That will run ie10 in an ie9 mode. There are a number of websites, other than Google Earth api sites, that this icon will come in handy. If you have a website using the plugin you might want to include a compatibility meta tag to force ie10 into ie9 compatibility mode. It worked for my site in my environment; however, few visitors to the site use ie10, so it is hard to tell how this temporary fix is doing out in the world. In addition other issues may arise on sites that use this mode.

Thank you josh. Changing the compatibility does the Job. What I'll do in my Websites, that is still the question. Wenn only fewe users use IE10, I guess I can let it wait. Perhaps this Plugin-problem is solved by then.

Bei mir funktioniert das Plugin weder in IE10, noch in Firefox (19.0.2), auch die Kompatibilitätsansicht im IE bringt nichts. Das Problem (..."Ein Problem mit dem Google Earth-Plug-in ist aufgetreten. Bitte installieren Sie es erneut"...) zeigt sich schon direkt auf der Produktseite (http://www.google.de/earth/explore/products/plugin.html) und halt auch unter Google Maps.

Was kann ich noch tun?

 

(It doesn't work with IE 10, Firefox or IE with compatibility-mode. What can I do?)
