Adding Circles

I am not that familiar with drawing polygons to Google Earth (or Pro) and would like to be able to insert a circle shape with a selectable radius or diameter to  my places - or as a polygon choice.  It would be useful to show protected areas, and if automatically scaled as one zoomed in and out that would be great!.

Does anyone have any hints or guidance for me?
