Showing Legacy 3D buildings in the GE Plugin

Google announced that in the release of Google Earth 7 we will have the ability to view turn off the new (Lower quality) 3D buildings and revert back to the legacy 3D buildings -- which is fantastic.    Will this feature be available in the plug-in?  Can we default our plugin instances to the legacy 3d buildings?   Best.
