Search of local Fusion Server

Is there going to be a search API that allows you to search a local
Fusion server (in this case we do not use the public GE servers)?
I believe you can do this with the Enterprise Client through its
search box.

Hi James,

This is probably a question for the Google Earth Enterprise team, but
in general, Google doesn't comment on upcoming features.

You could always do a [slow] search in JavaScript using walkKmlDom or
string-matching getKml() results. This won't scale, of course, but may
work if you have a small content repository.
