Honeycomb version issue

I just started using a tablet (Toshiba Thrive) and downloaded Google
Earth. I tapped the GPS button and it found my location (from indoors
no less) and put a bullseye right on my house. Now I would like to
know how to remove the bullseye from the display, so I can see the
area without it blocking my view. Has anyone else seen this?
