Launched: Google Earth Plug-in 5.1.3533.1731

Hi all,

Last week, we released version 5.1.3533.1731 of the Google Earth Plug-
in, compiled against existing version 1.003 of the Google Earth API.

The major changes in this release are all related to the installation
process for Mac users:

1) The plug-in is now bundled with the Google Earth desktop client
installer on Mac, as well as on Windows.
2) The standalone plug-in installer (downloadable via any Earth API
site) is now vastly simplified on Mac.
3) The Mac installer is now split into Intel-only and Universal-binary
versions. Intel Mac users will automatically get the Intel-only
version for a smaller and faster download.

The other changes are mostly bug fixes, and will soon be listed in the
release notes, found here:

Over the next several days, the entire install base on Windows and Mac
will be updated to the new plug-in version. All new plug-in downloads
and installs will be of this new version.
