Cannot delete file from a team drive (via API) even though i am a content manager.

it looks like as of last week. there have been some internal changes in the google drive API but now a content manager can no longer delete a file. it throws a 403 insufficient permissions error. I can delete the file on the web though (delete for everyone option). is this a bug?

Note: I have set up the following attributes as true

supportsTeamDrives and supportsAllDrives
