502 Bad Gateway Errors intermittently since Sept 15

We have noticed getting 502 Bad Gateway Errors intermittently from Sheets API since Sept 15 and it has been getting more and more frequent ever since.
Anyone has any idea what may be the cause?
For reference, here are the Google Java Client libraries being imported:
