Localized versions of geo targeting data

Hello,

Is it possible to retrieve a localized versions of geo targeting data over API? 

Using this endpoint: https://developers.google.com/ad-manager/api/reference/v202305/PublisherQueryLanguageService

We just need a French version of geo targeting data. 

Would be great if it is possible?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Ad Manager API support team.

The Google Ad Manager API doesn't directly provide support for getting location data in French or other languages. When you use the API to get location data, it usually comes in the language of your Ad Manager account. If you want the data in a different language like French, you'll need to translate it yourself after getting it from the API.

Hello once again,

Can we switch the language of a service user so we get geo-targeting data in French? Or if you know any other way of getting geo-targeting data in a different language then we would appreciate that (it could be switching GAM global setting or anything).

Yes, you change language from the Google Ad Manager 360 (UI) from the settings. You may refer to this help article for more information. If you face any issue while using the GAM UI, kindly post your query in the Ad Manager Help Community for further assistance.

Hi,

Thanks for the instructions but we already tried it but there is no option for changing Language for service accounts which is used for API users. We can change the language for UI users but not for service accounts. Do you know on how we can change the language for service accounts i.e. for API users?

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you want to change your display language for the service account using the Ad Manager API which is not possible/available. I will raise a request for this feature, however, kindly note that I am unable to comment on any timelines for its exposure in the API. With that being said, I would recommend you to follow our Ads Developer Blog and release notes for announcements about new Ad Manager API releases and features.
