Deep link click action URL for native ads

Hello Team,

We are trying to integrate Native Ads with Google Ad SDK.  As part of requirement we are tying to deep link the other apps with onclick of the native ads.

Could you let us know how to configure the deeplink in setup.

when i use schema deeplink in setup. its throwing error

"Sorry, we didn't recognise this URL. Manual macro insertion may be required."

Upon checking from my end, from the error response it suggests that the URL provided was not recognized where you may provide the URL with the macro representation. As, The Ad Manager doesn't support the custom schemes. Kindly refer to this article regarding Macros and how to add a URL with macros. You can also check the Custom native Ad formats with variable settings as URL type.

However, if you are still facing any issues, you may post your issue in Ad Manager Help Center where they are more equipped to support Product related issues. As, we can resolve issues related to the Google Ad Manager API only and if your concern is related to API then, you may provide the following details to investigate further. You can send them via Reply privately to the author option, or a direct private reply to this email :

• SOAP request and response (SOAP logging must be enabled).
• Network Code.
• User Email.

Hi Team,

Thanks for the response, we are using following type Native Content Ad for Android Mobile Application.

Click Through URL is accepting only websites and on click of the native ad its opening the url in external browser. We dont want open any external browser.

For example : From instagram app opening directly AJIO app content 

In our case we want to open different page in the same application,  Other app , Or In app browser.

Could you please help us with sample deeplink url what we have to configure in place of Deep link click action URL . I am loading the ads with "com.google.android.gms.ads.nativead.NativeAdView" from Ad SDK for Android,  not in the webview with html.

 If it wont support the custom schemes what we have to configure.  Could you elaborate on this more
