I have reviewed your query and understand that you are retrieving a report via API using CUSTOM_DATE as a dateRangeType, but you’re  facing an issue i.e, unmarshalling error . I recommend you to refer to the  dateRangeType and its values and date object in order to retrieve the report using CUSTOM_DATE . If still the issue persists,Please provide us with the following details to investigate the issue further.

• Network code.
• UserService.getCurrentUser (if unable, you may just provide the email address used to make API requests).
• Complete SOAP request and response logs from API (SOAP logging must be enabled).
