Hi Vincent,Thanks for your reply!Just to confirm, we cannot create dfp-hosted video over the API?Also, if we externally host our ads and use the VideoRedirectCreative...does Google cache the creative on their side or is the ad always served from the external server?

Hi Joey,To create a video creative, just use VideoRedirectCreative since this creative contains externally hosted video ads. To set the creative's content, just set the videoAssets property. There is a VideoCreative object, but then this creative is read-only and contains DFP-hosted video ads.For your second question, yes you can give access to your advertisers by letting them upload their own creatives in your network. You can create a new role for them, assign them to a team and limit their access to 'Edit creatives', 'View creatives', etc. Please check this document regarding roles and permissions. Thanks,Vincent Racaza, DFP API Team--

In planning this out, it seems that DFP-hosted video creatives is currently not exposed via the API as of v201608. Are there plans for implementing this in the future? In the meantime, are there any known workarounds outside of uploading creatives on behalf of our advertisers? Such as, can we give access directly to our advertiser clients to upload creatives in dfp in a similar way to sharing access to specific reports? Thanks,Joey Lappin
