Getting a Data Studio Dashboard with Key-Value Dimension

Hi all,

ist it possible to show a Dashboard based on Ad Manger Key-Values?

As far as I can tell, this Dimension is not shown when Connected with the Ad Manager. Is there any way in Data Studio to get this Filter through the API?

Hello, 

Are you trying to get all the key values in your network? If so, you can use the getcustomtargetingkeysbystatement() and getcustomtargetingvaluesbystatement() in CustomTargetingService. Please check GetAllCustomTargetingKeysAndValues in Java for a code sample to do this. Samples in other languages can also be found here. If you are trying to get this via reports, you can use CUSTOM_CRITERIA. However, it is not possible to filter by this dimension. You will need to filter with CUSTOM_TARGETING_VALUE_ID. For example, if the custom targeting key and value is "car=example", the user needs to post-process to get the custom targeting value ID of "example". Then, that ID of custom targeting value can now be used in query filter.

I have the same issue; but it appears this is not (yet?) possible.

If you would like to know whether this will be added to the Ad Manager UI, please post this on the product forum as the experts there are better equipped to address your question concerning Data Studio and Ad Manager UI.
