Hi,

At around 3AM Pacific today (2017-09-20) up to now the DFP Reporting API started to consistently return "FAILED" after a few "IN_PROGRESS" responses.

Is there some problem on the API side? I could retrieve the records through the UI.

The status page (http://ads.google.com/status) for DFP is displaying a "Service disruption" since 12:18 PM today (not sure about which timezone), but I'm not sure if it's related.

Thanks,

Tomas

Also, is there a way to get more information about the error? All I get from the getReportJobStatus response is { rval: "FAILED" }.

Hi Tomas,

Based on the latest status in the Ads Dashboard for DFP, the issue is about the delay of reporting metrics. I believe that this issue is not related to your issue as it should not affect the report downloading. So I can further check your issue, could you provide your SOAP request and response logs with your network code? You may use the Reply privately to author option when replying.

Thanks,
Vincent Racaza, DFP API Team

Hi Vincent,

The problem transitioned from consistent to occasional (while frequent) by the end of yesterday, and it has been stable (no errors) for a few hours today.

It seems it has been solved on DFP's side, and it's not a problem at the moment.

Thanks for the quick response,

Tomas

Hi Tomas,

Apologies but you are correct. The issue in the Ads Status Dashboard for DFP affected the report downloading. You can monitor this in the dashboard for the full resolution.
