Unable to push changes to an order because of the following error: LineItemError: INVALID_CREATIVE_TARGETING_NAME

Hi Google API:

An order was processed successfully using the GAM API but after the user makes an edit directly in GAM (i.e add creative level targeting), and then tries to make an edit to the order and push that using the API, the user now gets the error message above.

We are trying to update our code to ensure the user does not get this error message but we cannot figure out why.  Can you please help us explain how we can avoid getting this error message?

The error INVALID_CREATIVE_TARGETING_NAME means one or more of the targeting names specified by a creative placeholder or line item creative association were not found on the line item. Can you please provide the complete SOAP logs of the error and network code so I investigate further? You can reply via reply privately to author.

Thank you for providing additional information.

Upon checking your logs, I saw that the request made that return a response error of "LineItemError: INVALID_CREATIVE_TARGETING_NAME" has creativeTargeting in the SOAP logs, but it doesn't have a name set. With that being said, kindly try adding the following below.

1. Add a creativeTargeting with both the targeting and name set

2. Add a creativePlaceholder with the same name as the creativeTargeting

I've noticed that in the latest update logs you provided, you've removed the creative targeting entirely. This doesn't seem to be possible since there is already creatives associated with the line item that is using the same targeting. Can you please confirm if the CreativeTargeting the only field you wish to update/remove from the line item?
