Retrieve CreativeNativeStylePreview urls without specifying site url

When I go to https://admanager.google.com/1234#delivery/PreviewCreative/orderId=123&lineItemId=123&creativeId=123, I can see creative native style previews without a website context. (See image)

Are these preview urls available from the API somewhere?

Hi,

If you want to retrieve the preview URL only (without the actual site URL) of the template creative, you can use the getCreativesByStatement of CreativeService, and get it in the previewUrl field of the TemplateCreative object.

Kindly see this Java example on how to get the creatives which is also available to other languages that Ad Manager API supports.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the previewUrl from the CreativeService gives back a page with creative field information only (see second picture). It's the same url as the top preview url (see first picture).

I suspect it's because this is a "native creative". The creative native style preview urls without the website context simply don't seem exposed by your api.

Thank you for clarifying your concern. You are correct that the link/URL for previewing the actual native creatives is currently not supported in Ad Manager API. The value in the API is different than the value in the UI.

You may continue to follow our blog to know if and when this field will be supported in API.
