Hello,
I am using the GDPR consent script (gtag implementation) in Ad Manager. I might be a year from the ininital install. Now I god few errors 3.3 that mean I need to re-obtain consent from users, that have 13 months old consent TC string.
Do I need to do anything, or will the popup window delete and create new TC script for the users?
Or is there a way/need to reset the TC script?

Thank you for any help or ideas.
Pavel

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for reaching out to the Ad Manager API support team. I am Chekurthi and will be assisting you.

From the help article, it suggests that you are required by IAB TCF policy to remind users about their consent choices at least once every 13 months. If the consent decision is more than 13 months old, the TC string will no longer be considered valid by Google and Google will not serve ads to that user. Yes, from 3.3 error it suggests that "CMP should delete the old TC string and reobtain consent".

Please note that our team can only assist with technical queries/concerns related to the Ad Manager API and TCF implementation is out of scope for our team. I would recommend you to post your query in the Ad Manager Help center for further assistance.
