Upload Video creative using API

Hi

We are working on Google Ad manager API integration to create lineitem and creatives. For the creative, I believe currently API is not supporting to upload creative in the GAM. Is there a way we can upload the creative so that GAM can transcode it and lineitem can start delivering?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Ad Manager API support team.

I would like to confirm that it is possible to create creative via the API using the CreativeService of the CreateCreatives class . In order associate creative to lineitem using the LineItemCreativeAssociationService of the CreateLicas class by passing parameters as lineItemId and creativeId.

Thank you for the quick reply.

So in the create creative class, we need to use BaseVideoCreative and under that need to use type VideoCreative. And in that, we need to pass the source video creative URL in videoSourceUrl from which GAM will use it and transcode the creative?

Yes, you are correct. Additionally, I would suggest you to check this Java sample code for creating video creatives via API for reference. You can find all available client libraries here.
