Hi,

I read about your Reporting updates where offline reports will migrate to instant reports (https://support.google.com/campaignmanager/answer/13660706?hl=en).

To my knowledge (I hope I'm wrong) unlike offline reports it's currently not possible to list, get, run or create instant reports through the API. Is that correct?

One of my use cases is that I either want to create a report through the API (current endpoint being https://www.googleapis.com/dfareporting/v4/userprofiles/<PROFILE_ID>/reports) and then run it daily with different intervals.

Another use case being someone handing me a report ID that has been created in the CM360 UI that I can run daily with different intervals. This is only possible with offline reports today to my knowledge.

Will either (or both) of these cases be undoable after the migration?

Thanks,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for your patience.
  • You can create instant reports from the API after the migration.
  • It will be the same as you do with offline reports today. E.g., create an instant report from UI, get the report id, get/list/update/run the report from the API by report id.

All reports that you can create/run from API today will remain available in API after the migration.

Hope this helps. For any other assistance you may get back to us.
