[Errno 104] Connection reset by peer

We use the DCM API to download our customers' data.
In some cases, we catch the error "[Errno 104] Connection reset by peer". An error means that the subscriber has disconnected from us. We can get such an error when checking the status of a report, it does not go away after a few hours of waiting. Moreover, this behavior is true for a limited set of credenshells. For many of our clients, everything is swinging well, with the exception of a few.
What are we doing wrong? What actions on our part could lead to such a result?

Could you please direct us to the endpoint you are using in our API REST Resources where you encounter the issue? It would be best if you can share with us the following for further investigation and better illustration of the issue:

  • DCM Account ID
  • Profile ID
  • Request body & URL
  • API Response in JSON Format
  • screenshot of the issue (if done via CM UI side)
