Hello,

I've been referred to this group from CM360 Support, who wasn't able to investigate our issue far enough. Here is a summary:

When attempting to load offline conversions into a floodlight activity via a GCP service account, we are receiving the following error message:

googleapiclient.errors.HttpError:

We've confirmed the CM360 API is enabled in the GCP project.

We've also given the service account user access within the CM360 network, with permission to upload offline conversions.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the DCM API support team.

Based on the information provided, I understand that you are getting errors while uploading the conversions using the DCM API. As you are uploading through the service account, I would suggest you to refer to this Service Accounts guide while making the API calls. You can also refer to this guide on how to upload conversions. Could you please provide us with the following information so we can investigate further:
  • DCM Account ID- You can find under your profile icon in your Campaign Manager 360 UI. You can also find it in the Account section, which is located under the Admin drop-down.
  • Profile ID used in the execution/request call
  • URL endpoint request along with the path parameters.
  • The complete JSON request and response logs by highlighting the error message.
You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.

Thanks,

Hi - Thank you for your reply. You may ignore this however, as the team was able to resolve the error on their own by resetting roles and permissions and trying once again. I suspect the wrong CM profile ID for the GCP service acct was being used.

Best,
Ben
