Hi Team,

I tried to use Control transcode from placement using API. I found API endpoint for that, Can you tell how to pass video format in the body?

I am Maia from the DCM API Team. I hope you are all doing well.

 

For the enabledVideoFormats field, I believe that you do not need to put any value. According to this document, set this list to null or empty to serve all video formats.

Hi Maia,

We need to serve only certain formats for the placements. 

We need to give only the size with true value like 720x600 has true then we enable that size for that placement. Can you tell us how to do that in the API request body?

Thank you for clarifying what you wanted to achieve using the API. Allow me to raise this to the rest of the team for the specific value for each video format. However, in order for me to do so and for us to investigate further, kindly provide us the following details below:

 

• DCM account ID
• Profile ID used in the request call
• Full request details of the failed request (request body & URL with path param values and API Response that shows the error)
