Over the past two weeks, we've seen an increase in users receiving errors as if they don't have proper permissions to query CM360 via the API. See below for two examples:

Exception: You do not have permission to call dfareporting.userProfiles.list. Required permissions: (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/ddmconversions || https://www.googleapis.com/auth/dfareporting || https://www.googleapis.com/auth/dfatrafficking)

GoogleJsonResponseException: API call to dfareporting.advertiserLandingPages.insert failed with error: 1024 : Your user profile doesn't have permission to modify advertisers. Please contact your account administrator for help.

All involved users definitely have proper permissions, and it's especially confusing for them to receive the message regarding "userProfiles" since there aren't really any "permissions" involved for that resource. Is anyone else experiencing an uptick in this type of error?

Note: Scripts are being executed via a Google Sheets Add-on.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the DCM API support team.

I understand that you are receiving permission errors via the API. In order to investigate further can you please share us with DCM Account Id and Profile Id, along with complete JSON request and response logs?

You can send the details via Reply privately to the author option, or direct private reply to this email.

Thanks,
